Hyundai Xcent – A Brand-new Compact Sedan

Hyundai, the Korean carmaker is renowned for making excellent cars that perform very well in all conditions. They have a very strong presence in India. The petrol variant of the Xcent is powered by a 1.2L Kappa dual VTVT engine of 1197cc displacement and it is capable of producing a maximum power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 114 Nm. It is mated with either a 5-speed manual or a 4-speed automatic transmission gearbox. On the other hand, the 1.1-liter U2 CRDi diesel engine with a displacement of 1120 cc under the hood of the diesel variant generates a maximum power of 71 bhp and a peak torque of 180 Nm. It comes coupled with a 5-speed manual transmission system. Another attractive feature of the Xcent is that it offers a reasonable mileage of 18.9 kmpl.

The desirable features of the Hyundai Xcent include spacious cabin and airy interiors, a wide array of segment first features, quite and comfortable engine performances and so on. The comfort features included in this car include rear AC vents, push start button, keyless entry and 1GB storage for music among others.

The major competitors of the Hyundai Xcent include the likes of Maruti Swift Dzire, Tata Zest, Tata Indigo eCS, Mahindra Verito, and Honda Amaze to list a few.
